Methane Digester
In 2019 we partnered with CalGren Renewable Fuels to install methane digesters on our dairy farms. The methane captured at our farms and neighboring farms are pipelined to a central scrubber at the CalGren Ethanol plant. The natural gas is then cleaned and used to power the plant. The excess gas is injected into the natural gas pipeline that is used for housing in our local communities.
